Take Your Balls Out of Your Purse ( And other messages from Spirit)!

Dearest wonderful you,
I’m writing this just before I go onstage in Winnipeg for another of my sold out shows on my tour Messages from Spirit. Although being out on the road for 3 weeks in an RV with hubby, dogs and 4 staffers is pretty tough for a gal who likes the comforts of her own home, I am having the time of my life and am in absolute awe that I get to do this.
Every time I step onstage until the time I step off I’m constantly being reminded of how much love and forgiveness, hope and support there is over on the “other side” beaming towards all of us and how much goofiness too!
There are so many stories to share but today I will tell you about one that even thinking about writing it makes me laugh out loud and be amazed at the same time.
So here goes (imagine me laughing so hard I can hardly type).
I am onstage, two thousand people in the audience and I hear very clearly some details about someone’s past and relationship to their father that end up pertaining to 3 separate people with similar stories. After delivering the messages once I settled on who was who, what was what, and whose father on the other side wanted to go first I start tuning into a man who kept saying … “Tell her to take her balls out of her purse and get on with it!” and variations thereof.
Now, this is not the most delicate message to deliver considering there was some poignant information and details that were also being discussed. But what can I say he said “ Take your balls out of your purse!” and then “ the only one to take her balls out of her purse!”
I saw she’d write a book that would change people’s lives and that she was procrastinating.
So because I don’t edit what comes to me I blurted out “Your Dad says to take your balls out of your purse and get on with it!” (Yes they talk like that on the other side)
It was pretty hysterical and so we all laughed of course and I carried on with the rest of the readings.
Then when I got to the next city I found an email from this very woman we will call Denver that made me laugh so hard I almost peed my pants.
Turns out when she went home she pondered this message from her Dad about taking her “balls out of her purse” and remembered she had a pair of kegel balls in a big pink purse stashed in the back of her closet hidden amongst other interesting personal items.
She went and looked in the purse and lo and behold found a huge envelope stuffed with cash that she had hidden over the years and completely forgot about, right beside those balls!
Well, her father was a jokester in life and turns out he’s still one. He was known for finding out a secret and then cornering someone with a half question in a public conversation so he could watch them get totally embarrassed then try to scramble out of it or fess up. I didn’t ask her what kind of balls they were – I thought he was referring to having courage not about real balls in a real purse!
So of course he would talk about these special personal kind of balls in such a huge forum in public, to really show it was him and also to remind his daughter he was looking out for her from the other side where there are no secrets ever.
I asked her if I might share the story. She said yes, as those balls are now out for everyone to see at her home now in a crystal glass box to remind her and anyone who cares to know that love never dies and about those secrets, well, being open and honest and maybe just a little bit wild is perfect at any age!
Message heard, delivered and received loud and clear.
I can hardly wait until this woman writes her book.
I’m sure if she procrastinates again her Dad will be around with some other juicy secret to reveal! I can only imagine what that could be next!

O honey yes he is… I know without a doubt you are loved and he is with you. He knows you miss him. Hang in there. 😉 so sorry for your loss- even if we do know they watch over us the loss still needs the grief.

Since you have been busy helping people heal with laughter, tears, and everything in between and I have been on a bit of a hiatus from writing I decided to respond to your topic from last week. I’ve learned that instead of being an active participant in things sometimes it’s good to sit back and observe your surroundings. During this Mercury retrograde the need for looking inward and doing a self assessment has been overwhelming to me. I’ve been through a lot in the past few years and these retrogrades have given me the opportunity to take pause and do a mental assessment and sometimes a physical assessment. I have a tendency to keep asking “why” about a lot of things, which in itself not a bad thing, but you have seen that person (or been that person) who comes into a movie partway (or sometimes the beginning) and asks,”Why is he doing that? What is she doing in that room? Who is this person supposed to be?” Predictably others in the room will simply respond, “Just watch the movie.” People are always worried about “spoiler alerts” when it comes to their favorite TV programs; if someone tells them what happens what is the point of watching? It can be the same with life: if someone tells you what happens all of the time what’s the point of living? I have experienced a slight hiccup in the progression of my life, there has been a slow response from the job that I thought that I had and the disclosed report date. They told me not to do anything with regard to moving arrangements until I’ve heard from this agency. Because this position is over two hours away from my current location and the report date is a little over 30 days away needless to say I’ve become a bit concerned. My instincts are telling me that maybe Spirit has something better in mind and chart astrology, my friend and spiritual adviser, and oracle cards say that everything will be fine, actually better than it has been in a while. Hmmm, should I just “watch the movie”? 😛
As human beings we will all have those feelings of anxiety and feelings in general; that’s what makes us “human”. In a blog before Colette asked about the role of tears in our lives. I’ve learned firsthand that you can’t suppress the things that make you human including tears; if so they will come and sometimes at the most inopportune moments. In this age of technology I think we have lost the connection which makes us human. Socialization and interaction with each other are lost skills as we sequester ourselves in our homes to do our shopping online, our dating online, even our socializing online. We’ve stopped seeing the humanity in people which leads to the devaluing of human lives and the violence that we’ve seen occurring globally. Colette, in the videos that you have posted online about your show and your tour I have been hopeful since you have helped people reconnect with their humanity via the other side and Spirit. There have been smiles, laughter, and tears throughout your tour and people are getting out of their homes to come see you and have a shared experience. Some people may not get a direct reading but they have seen others get readings and I’m sure that they can relate to their own experiences through others readings. During this retrograde some people’s purpose may not to get read but to observe other’s readings, to “watch the movie”, and make their own self assessment from the experience. I’ve been thinking about your early difficulties in the tour and the retrograde; hopefully you haven’t had any more. Maybe Spirit is telling us all to do a self assessment, reconnect with our humanity, and “watch the movie” of our lives as it unfolds. . . and enjoy it! Enjoy the rest of the tour, and enjoy the remaining shows Canada! You’re all in for a treat!
