What a crazy Mercury retrograde that was!
I’m usually all in—I’m a big fan, I say—Yay!!! It’s time to regroup, revisit, re-re-re, etc. etc. But my bum was not having a comfy ride in a retrograde amusement park while heading to Portugal. I spent the night on a broken seat and then faced a 3-hour delay coming home.
In case you care, Lisbon airport is not one of those comfy airports you don’t mind being stuck in. But a sense of humor absolutely did me wonders as I sat with hundreds of crabby passengers swapping awful travel stories while I tuned into Love is Blind UK, and Marc entered a contest on our DuoLingo app. (Note: Learning Portuguese is HARDER than Spanish. Just sayin’.)
Anyhow, I’ve had a great week back, genuinely celebrating so much with such deep gratitude. I got super emotional during my Dreamquest Platinum Mastermind alumni call, seeing all these amazing people who have really put the work into themselves, their spirituality, their creativity and their service.
One woman has written not one but three books; another launched a wildly successful medspa line; another developed an amazing software that is doing better than she imagined; another finishing a fantasy novel; another finally fell in love with her business; another competing in ballroom dancing on global stages. I could go on and on. I felt like a proud mama goose seeing her chicks grow up laying their own golden eggs. It reminds me how fortunate I am to get to support people like this. So excited for the new group to start in mid-September. (Click here if the sound of this appeals to you—we have a few spots left.)
I know transformation rarely happens around just one thing, as I’m reminded by one of my favorite writers, Polina Pompliano, who pens The Profile’s subscription newsletter. It’s genuinely one of my favorite things to read every week. In her annual birthday edition, she writes that no one single event will transform your entire identity. I know this intimately—I got sober, but the life I was gifted afterward was a perfect mess of evolutionary experiences. Many doors were opened for me. It’s very much like I do with DreamQuest for those who join us: I open the door and point the way, but what you do once you step through the door is what creates the magic. It’s never a one-and-done experience. No destination or accomplishment is final.
I also came home to celebrate the launch of baby WOTO! The pocket-sized version of my most popular Oracle Card deck, Wisdom of the Oracle, affectionately known as WOTO—like Toto but with a W. (Not sure why I thought that example was good, but oh well, it’s the jet lag.) I am so, so, so excited to share this with you!
Anyway, I have a few things to recommend this week that I’m hoping you will love as much as I do:
- The Profile with Polina on Substack.
- My friend’s fabulous book on animal communication. (Hint it’s also about you!) Michael R. Burke’s Intuitive Animal Communication is a must-read for anyone who loves animals. He’s now a Hay House author, and I am so proud to recommend his book.
- Does anyone want to study astrology? I am an astrology lover myself, and the best school to learn and possibly become a professional astrologer is Debra Silverman’s School of Applied Astrology. The semester begins soon.
- Last but not least, check out the Trauma to Transcendence Summit. I am one of the interviews with Dr. Sue Morter. But never mind about me—you should see how many incredible interviews and experts are there. Totally fascinating!
That’s it loves—talk to you next week! 😉
We got to laugh when it comes to leading with Mercury Retrograde 😅
I hope you enjoy your stay in Portugal and whenever you want to exercise your portuguese, I am available (haha).
I hope someday be able to be one of your mastermind students!
A big hug from Porto, Portugal 🇵🇹 and your OS student🦋
Good for you trying to learn Portuguese. I have lived here for 20 years and still have not mastered it, so difficult. I hope you enjoyed your time here and it will become a home to you, it is such a wonderful country. I so enjoy being a part of the Oracle Circle and all that you do. Thanks so much.
