I was walking in the rain recently, pondering the beauty of the changing colors and falling leaves of the trees that form a canopy over the country road we live on. In the autumn, the leaves shift from a rich green to jewel tones of yellow, orange, and red. These colors flame bright for only about a week to 10 days, but it’s a welcome sign that it’s time to honor the changing season and celebrate the slowing down and letting go.
This is my favorite season of the year. (I know I’m repeating myself since I started talking about my love affair with autumn back in August!)
This week, we have the New Moon Annular Solar Eclipse in Libra, (a big deal since we won’t have another one like this until 2033!), and it’s here to bring us clarity of thought and heart—especially in how we relate to one another, our closest relationships, and the way we handle our differences. This energy is incredibly supportive, helping us navigate radical changes and inviting us to embrace the middle way—something many of us resist. I think it’s because meeting in the middle is harder when you’re so sure your way is the right and only way. Plus, it’s definitely nowhere near as exciting there either. Hmmm.
Something to ponder 😉
I do love that less exciting part of the bridge. (Yes, there is always a bridge. Even when we blow it up, Spirit magically finds some way of giving us another one—and another—until we get the hang of honoring our differences, doing no harm, meeting in the middle, and then going our own ways.)
Anyway….enough of my musing!
On Saturday, I’m super excited because I get to hang out with my favorite colleagues (like Kyle Gray and John Holland, pictured below) at Hay House. YAY!! Eleven of us authors are all flying to Charleston, SC to present our Mystical Connections virtual event.
It’s particularly meaningful that Louise Hay’s birthday is on October 8th. She created Hay House to feel like a family, and it’s true—we’re all so supportive of each other and manage to genuinely get along. She’d be so proud to see her legacy in action. We are a fabulous mystical motley crew and I’m so fortunate to be included. I feel at home here, and I’ve built long-term reciprocal friendships that have been sure and steady now for years. I’m very grateful.
Anyway, hope to see you at the event. (Click here to sign up for free!) It’s online and all of us are doing readings! I’m also the host so you’ll see a lot of me too.
Hugs to all,
Colette
