End of Summer Newsletter – Manifesting while Living the Serenity Prayer… thoughts after hurricane Irene.

The storm has passed and I was able to drive down to the beach this morning to pray and meditate. The seagulls were hopping around as if they were at a party and the waves were still in pretty big action although without the threatening energy that we all experienced over the past few days. I love living close to the ocean and I knew moving here we would experience more weather events than we did in Sedona not excluding the flash floods during the monsoon season there.
The past month stirred up so much energy as it was with one of the most challenging mercury retrogrades I have experienced personally in years (for more info see www.mayawhite.com). It was a month of extremes, from electrical issues like my Harley battery going on the fritz every time I rode her, to communication faux pas (I swear I was suffering from leg in mouth disease, never mind foot) to fantastic experiences like my first Intuitive Coach ™ training program, but then losing my luggage on the way home. I know others have been feeling that they’re on the same kind of roller coaster story. So it was only fitting in my estimation that a super storm would put the period on the end of that sentence!
It was pretty scary watching Hurricane Irene make her way up the East Coast wreaking havoc on so many communities. My heart goes out to all the people who experienced flooding, power loss and damages. We were fortunate that all we had were 40mph winds and little or no damage.
I had spent two days getting ready for a possible emergency. Marc was away on business in Texas and I was alone with my 2 tiny dogs in a house that, well, is pretty much all windows and surrounded by huge trees! That preparation was good on one hand because we had nothing in the house for this kind of event, but challenging emotionally. I also tend to absorb the collective angst as well as am highly sensitive to the natural world, and I found it difficult to remain grounded amidst the chaotic energy that electrified the air. I noticed how easy it was to get swept up blindly by the anxiety and fear that has been steadily pushing into the collective like a relentless windstorm.
My favorite prayer has been the only thing that centralizes my energy. You may know it already.
Say it slowly out loud and savor the words.
The Serenity Prayer:
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference
I believe our entire experience is a constant balancing act between the very distinct energies of two opposite thoughts .
1. I create my own reality.
2. I must surrender to life on life’s terms.
In the space between these statements lies the truth of how we manifest our reality. Nature is constantly reminding us of what we cannot change. When I was at the beach, a beautiful small seagull stood in front of me on one leg. I thought that was normal since they all do that - one leg up, one down, but when he went to fly and stretched his leg out I saw it was shredded at the knee. He had adapted regardless of what had been done to him. He flew up and over the waves, dove down and got a small fish. I think about that little seagull and how he carried on with his handicap. Circumstances like Hurricane Irene invite us into the consciousness of courage so that we can change what we can to manifest our best life possible regardless of outer conditions. How we create our lives must include an intention to serve the greater good as we learn to adapt to our ever-changing environment. No matter what happens we learn to adapt to the shifts.
New Moon In Virgo
New Moon in Virgo brings new energy for this month’s focus.
The energy of the new moon this month brings us a solid and strong sense of an earthy vibration.
Every new moon we all have an opportunity to reflect on what we wish to create and plant our intentions in our field of dreams. This new moon brings us clarity and awareness about the nature of prosperity, and our service to the world. Are we being ethical, and honorable? Are we authentic in our expression? Virgo is all about the details not the broad strokes, and we are given a wonderful opportunity to refine our message and our priorities. We’re also reminded of flexibility and adaptability, and are warned against being too rigid or too critical.
This is the perfect time to clean your closets, make order in your office and adapt a better self- care plan!
This period of end of summer self-evaluation is also perfect for journaling.
Spend some time and contemplate your answers to these questions:
- What is the relationship to my service and my beliefs about prosperity?
- What is sacred to me?
- Do I trust and believe in what I say?
- Do my actions reflect my truest motives?
- In what way do I choose to dim my light rather than face disapproval from others?
- If I could do anything to change my life what would it be?
- Do I take responsibility for my part in disagreements?
- How does fear show up in my life’s expression?
- What do I love to do in my life?
- What makes my heart sing?
- What actions can I do to ensure my well-being?
The Miraval Experience
Congratulations to my 22 new Intuitive Coaches™ now officially able to use the IN-Vizion® process as a professional coaching modality!
What an incredible experience we all had at Miraval in Tucson, Arizona. We spent five transformative days together at this beautiful spa resort, and I can honestly say the training program came together even better than I had imagined it.
The spa environment is a really supportive place to hold this kind of training in since the training itself is so intense and participants were reeling with all the information I was giving them and in need of time out to process and ground. In this certification training I teach the mechanics and theory behind the intensive material so they can lead others through the process, although they too had to go through their own process while learning it. A massage and good food was an effective and much-needed experience after the class was finished for the day.
I was excited to share how to use my oracle cards as coaching tools rather than use them to do psychic readings. All my decks can be used as a method of gaining greater client insight for coaches and healers. I am thrilled to say that the oracle cards behaved beautifully as a companion to the IN-Vizion ® process as a coaching modality.
When I wrote my book The Map, it was a result of having taking hundreds of people through my Transformational Intensive in Sedona Arizona. ( I will now be calling it The Map Intensive) I knew that the content would truly help empower people to use a different way of creative thinking to allow for a more observant responsive and co-creative role in their lives. I had a sense that the IN-Vizion ® process, my unique creative process that combines active imagination and a form of inner dialog could be a template for a unique coaching method, and I am so happy to announce it translated beautifully!
Because of the immense success of this program I am going to be designing new professional coaching and mentoring programs for 2012. Advanced training for Intuitive Coaches will be available as well as modules on Intuitive Weight Loss coaching for People Who Feel Too Much. My focus next year will be on empowering and helping others to help and empower others! It’s passing it on at its finest! Teaching is my favorite thing to do and I look forward to supporting others in their professional goals to learn new and unique transformative coaching methods.

I took the summer off to regroup, and the Wisdom Circle was one of the monthly events that got rescheduled. I actually thought no one would miss it, but we kept getting tons of inquiries from new people as well as my regulars so I decided to announce the dates thru until the end of the year.
I will send out another newsletter in a couple of weeks with an All Event schedule but put these in your book!
Every month for 90 minutes I will hold an intimate video gathering where everyone who attends will have a chance to send in the issues you are dealing with and what you need help grounding for the month ahead . It’s amazing how the themes seem to be shared in common by attendees! I will lead in a discussion as well as a number of transformational IN-Vizion® processes that will be available as a download to revisit any time you wish until the next session.
These are the dates:
Sept 21st, Oct 26th, Nov 16th, Dec 21st.
In ancient tribal times, the tribe would gather at the end of the day, around a fire with their spiritual teacher to hear stories of great wisdom. The stories involved fellow tribes-people who had gone on heroic and magical journeys, learned from their journey, and returned as heroes to their tribe to recount their tales of adventure. The value of these Wisdom Circles is not lost in today's society. Everyone needs a tribe, a community, a forum in which to express their feelings and learn from others, as well as a very accomplished spiritual teacher.
Colette's Wisdom Circle accomplishes all that. In this 90 minute interactive experience Colette will teach for about 20 minutes on her work in the Map and then open up the floor to whomever has a question. Together you will hear the stories within the circle and Colette will put perspective on the Magic and Meaning in the story of that person's life.

 Private Sessions Now Available!
After cutting back this summer due to massive burn out (I SO needed a break to recharge for myself which makes it better for all of you!), it’s time to prepare for the end of summer back to work schedule.
We are now booking from Aug 31st onwards through the first week of October.
Monday thru Friday sessions are available from 4pm to 6:30 pm and 9:30 to 11 am on Saturday mornings. I will be traveling most of October, so book now for September private sessions. But worry not, I will be back to doing the private sessions in November as well, which you can also book for now.
Be prepared for the unexpected when you have a private session. Although I can’t guarantee it will happen with you, my readings this summer have been peppered with pets and people who have crossed over jumping in with love and joy and some pretty awesome apologies too! All in a days work for me, while I reveal your purpose and help you strategize your best future!
The focus for sessions will include an overview of the next 6 months to a year, and strategies for being the most prosperous purposeful You.

What to expect from a session:
I know to a lot of you who are reading this it's all new, so I’ll explain what you can expect from a 30 minute session and a 15 minute session.
In the 30 min. session I will put the puzzle of your life together based on where you’ve been, what energies are your “umbrella”, how you’re currently manifesting your reality, who is influencing you and where you’re heading in the future. I generally don’t look beyond 18 months into the future but time is really tricky as is free will.
As a medium (my secondary skill) I will deliver a message (if I pick any up) from someone on the other side wishing to connect. Expect the unexpected! When this happens it’s as extraordinary for me as it is you. Have Kleenex available.
As a psychic I will see the events, names, past and upcoming experiences and tell you the stories within your story - the details.
As an intuitive counselor I will look beyond the surface of things and delve into the “why” and “how” certain experiences are happening and how you can be empowered to reach your highest good - the analysis. I will be able to show you how to shift directions and avoid pitfalls as you move forward and indicate what and how to heal the areas in your life holding you back from your best life.
I will discuss the projection of your future and point out the path ahead and address your questions about relationships, career, health and family.
In the 15 min. session I prepare the session in advance after reading a specific question or 2 submitted in detail by you. I will analyze in-depth the direction of your query, whether you’re heading in the best possible direction and what you need to do if anything to move things along. This type of session is also beneficial as a follow up.
The 30 minute Business session is a powerful intuitive assessment of your business, its direction, staff, internal dynamics and potential for the future. I use ancient Chaldean numerology, western astrology, intuitive analysis, and psychic perspective on the structure, content and future viability of your business. My clients include Fortune 500 companies, independent entrepreneurs and small businesses.
